Depending on cylinder/compressor configuration and electrical rates, investment payback is roughly 6 months.
Decreased electrical consumption also results in lower carbon dioxide or CO2 emissions. If, for example, X-Block® was installed throughout U.S. industry, the U.S. would emit 21 million tons less per year of CO2 (see CO2 for details).
