Reduction in Carbon Dioxide or CO2

According to a Department of Energy survey, a typical industrial facility uses 10% of the electricity consumed for the genereration of compressed air. The U.S.uses 979,104 millions of kWh annually for industrial usage.

If X-Block® was fully implemented, for example, throughout U.S. industry at a 50% energy savings, the U.S. would emit 21 million tons less of CO2 emission a year (see
links for calculations and data sources). Over 4 million tons of CO2 emissions would be saved annually in the U.K. based on Carbon Trust figures (see www.carbontrust.co.uk).
